Pie Bald Doe

Here is a picture of a Pie Bald doe that was caught on camera a couple times here in Decatur. I don't know if she was shot during the past season, but there is also a fawn running around in the same area with the same characteristics.  It would be awesome if it turned out to be a buck...

  1. I've always wondered if bucks are similar to humans when they pic their seed receivers.
Like, would dominant suitors fight extremely hard over this doe because she comes across as "exotic?
Or would she have to go the extra mile just to get noticed? Like, a frumpy lass hoping to get asked to the town social.

My guess is.... When them does start throwing out the scent, it don't matter what they look like.

  2. I had a place one time out by Cundiff that had a yearling that was colored like a paint horse. Never saw her again after that first season. Probably stood out too much.
